Today I turned 30 years old. I can hardly believe it.

We had some work to get done today in the home office before heading to a business meeting in San Francisco and we were able to eat dinner there before heading home. We then went and walked around a local nice outside shopping center before Chris surprised me with letting me pick out an awesome dock/speaker for my iPhone. I’ve been wanting one for YEARS but I couldn’t justify spending the money. It was a wonderful gift! I’ve got it all hooked up!

I received over 70(!!!) Facebook birthday wishes and it was so fun reading them throughout the day! Here are some of my favorites that made me smile/laugh:

My mom: If I had enough money I would have gotten you this for your birthday, but I’m financially embarrassed … maybe next year! Happy happy birthday! <:o) [she linked to a 5 million dollar iphone lol!]
Ex-coworker: What a cute kid! You’re one of the only people I know to keep the toe-head sporting into your 30′s. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! [commenting about my FB profile pic of me at 2 years old having a birthday tantrum! lol]
High school classmate: Happy birthday, Leslie! 30′s aren’t so bad… it’s like the 20′s… except with money. hahaha!
A BFF: Happy birthday. Now you’re a hoar AND you’re old. Love you so!! xxo [hoar is mispelled on purpose- inside joke]
One of my brothers: Good thing we have a lot of friends in common. Had about 70 people remind me it’s your birthday!!! Haha jk jk. Hope you have a good one…

I’m getting tired in my old age but wanted to blog about today and save some of the cute FB comments. I truly am a very lucky girl surrounded by the most amazing friends & family.

Starting today, you can go to the App Store on your iPhone and download the free Netflix app!  When loaded, it let’s you access your Instant Queue and you can watch any TV show or movie in their Online Catalog!

I tested it out this morning and am excited to report that the movie I picked loaded quickly and the quality was great!

This is great for use at the gym!  I love the idea of being able to call up any show or movie without having to pre-load it to your iPhone and wait for it to download!

My name is Leslie – and I’m an iPhone addict.

I got my first iPhone in April of last year and immediately fell in love with it.  So much could be done right there on the little gadget with NO need for a computer.  Actually, my old computer died sometime last year and I went months before replacing it because I could do enough on my iPhone to get me through the withdrawals.

I camped out at our local mall last month to get my hands on the new iPhone 4.  The 5mp camera had me sold at “hello!”

My current favorite apps that I use daily are:

• Four Square
• Tap Fish (tamagotchi-ish)
• Weather
• Camera
• iPod

I can’t imagine having to go back to having a regular old school cellphone after being so spoiled!  I just wish the iPhone’s monthly phone plan wasn’t so pricey!
