Week 1 of Weight Watchers

It’s been one week since I started my “diet” and Wednesday will mark my one week on Weight Watchers and I’m excited to tell you that I am down THREE POUNDS!

It has been fairly easy to stay within my point range.  I do stress when we go out to eat but I just try my best to make smart choices.  We went to Cheesecake Factory the other night and I tried their chicken salad for weight conscious people and it was really good and 590 calories.  Usually 590 calories is a lot for one meal for me but with all my other options, that was the best for the situation.

I’ve discovered new meals to make for us.  My new favorite is to throw together a spinach salad with chicken, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, apple pieces and raspberry vinaigrette.  It is delicious!  I’m always looking for new meals to throw into the mix!

This week’s goal is to get in a few runs before Sunday!
